Cloud Engineer - Genesis10 : Job Details

Duties: Responsible for consulting on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering; review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger-scale, and/or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors; utilize Google Cloud, Spark, Hadoop, Python, Scala, Shell, Django, Airflow, Autosys, Teradata, Oracle, and Hive to perform duties; contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables; and strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.Location: New York, NY and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;Salary: $176,800 per year (standard benefits apply);Minimum Qualifications: Education: Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Data Engineer, as a Software Developer, as a System Administrator, as a Lead - Technology, or in a related occupation; Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years' use of all the following: Google Cloud, Spark, Hadoop, Python, Scala, Shell, Django, Airflow, Autosys, Teradata, Oracle, and Hive.Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.Because referrals have and continue to produce some of our best performing consultants nationwide, Genesis10 will reward you for your referrals by paying you a referral fee of $1000.00 which shall be paid in 2 installments:First Installment*: $500.00 when the candidate begins an assignment through Genesis10 at our clientSecond Installment*: $500.00 after the candidate has been on assignment for a minimum period of 6 months.The candidate must still be on billing at the time the second payment is due for you to be eligible to receive it. *Installments are typically mailed out towards the end of the qualifying month. Please note that depending on when your referral started his/her assignment, payment may not be received until the following month.
