Summary Of Position

We are seeking a Cloud Data Engineer with experience in Azure cloud infrastructure to engineer DataBricks and MS Fabric solutions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various cloud hosts, with expertise in Microsoft Azure at a minimum.

This role involves designing and implementing cloud solutions in compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating with clinical and operational teams. The candidate should understand cloud architecture, data management, deployment methodologies, and have a focus on automation and mentorship.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Three (3) years in an IT role involving solution or technical cloud architecture using cloud platforms (private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Experience with cloud strategy, management, and cross-team collaboration.

Other Skills, Competencies, And Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure, DataBricks, MS Fabric, Epic Clarity or Caboodle.
  • Experience in a hospital provider setting, including PHI data migration from Epic.
  • Knowledge of service integration, cloud SLAs, and programming languages like SQL, Python, R, Java, Node.

Essential Functions

  • Engineering on customer premise applications linked to cloud resources.
  • Designing cloud architecture, defining system specifications, and ensuring security.
  • Providing technical guidance and analyzing processes for optimization.
  • Collaborating on future cloud application strategies and supporting DevOps processes.
