Cloud Automation Tester – Telecom domain - Innominds Software Pvt. : Job Details

Design and implement automation test suites to validate customer-facing REST APIs and all features of cloud components.

Develop frameworks and test suites for load and regression testing; validate systems with millions of data transactions, generate reports, and track KPIs.

Automate the build process with regression test suites using Jenkins pipeline and Robot Framework.

Automate operational processes related to network management, provisioning, and configuration.

Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve overall efficiency.

Ensure that changes to the network are version-controlled and reproducible.

Set up monitoring solutions to measure the health and performance of software applications and network infrastructure.

Collaborate with telecom engineers, software developers, and cross-functional teams to streamline QA processes and enhance collaboration.

Promote accountability within the team by encouraging robust test framework design, automation of validation/build processes, and thorough documentation practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Cloud QA Engineer in the software industry.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, cloud technologies, and architectures.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, JMeter, TestNG, Selenium, Appium) and load generation tools.
• Experience using Jenkins for test automation.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies. Awareness of code quality and performance metrics.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Shell, Python, or Ruby.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and telecom-specific technologies.
• Experience with network configuration management tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications in Cloud QA are a plus.
