They will have a deep understanding of cloud architecture, a strong background in infrastructure and application design, and a proven ability to deliver scalable and secure cloud environments that align with business goals. The Cloud Architect II will work to actively instill the culture, mission, and vision of the company to the Technology department to ensure a positive and efficient work environment. In this position one will use appropriate interpersonal styles to establish effective relationships with customers and internal partners; interacting with others in a way that promotes openness and trust, listening actively to others, and ensuring accurate and timely results.Work is full time and performed in home office, at CNS facilities, and in the community.

• Designs and implements cloud architecture using Microsoft Azure services to meet the organization's needs.
• Develops cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring strategies
• Collaborates with various departments, including clinical, marketing, admissions, human resources, accounting, and management, to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems and databases.
• Ensures all cloud solutions comply with industry standards and CNS security policies, including HIPAA HITECH.
• Monitors and optimizes cloud infrastructure performance, implementing best practices for cost management and resource utilization.
• Stays updated with the latest Azure technologies and trends, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance CNS's cloud capabilities.
• Provides technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams.
• Ensures security, scalability, and reliability of Azure cloud solutions.
• Works with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translates them into technical solutions.
• Maintains documentation related to architecture designs, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect) preferred
• Experience with cloud-based systems in a medical or healthcare setting, preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, preferred.

Experience And Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on Azure.
• Expertise in Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Automation, Logic apps, Azure Virtual Networking, Entra ID, and others
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like ARM templates.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

It's not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are arrived at each unique case. A reasonable estimate of the current wage starts at $150,000-$160,000/annually.
