Full-Time Clinician Position
SCMHCC is currently recruiting for a full-time clinician based out of our El Dorado clinic who will be required to work with all populations but primarily focused on our young child clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide intake assessments, individual, marital, family, group therapy, crisis assessment/screening and psychological testing if qualified to clients seeking services from South Central Mental Health.
- Provide education and consultation services to the community on an as needed basis.
- Provide treatment summaries/updates as requested by community partners.
- Attend meetings and collaborate with peers and other team members regarding consumers treatment.
- Maintain clinical records routinely and in a timely manner. All records will be subject to utilization review.
- Sustain a high level of professional competence through continuing education and clinical supervision.
- Maintain all professional credentialing requirements.
- Adhere to the standards of ethics for mental health professionals.
- Follow all policies and procedures of the agency.
- Provide other duties as assigned.
Physical, Educational, and Personal Requirements
Physical: Hear, speak and write English clearly. Vision adequate to observe clients and make chart entries.
Personal: Detail oriented, good interpersonal skills, good communication skills, and good problem solving skills.
