Compensation Range:

Anticipated compensation range of $39.00 - $46.80 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations:

Performs both routine and complex tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, safety testing and repair of a diverse range of clinical equipment, which may include life support. This position requires flexibility of hours.EDUCATION:Biomedical technology certification/diploma or Associate degree or higher in a related field.EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:Two to five years of related experience.LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:Preferred:Current Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) certificationSKILLS:Perform significant preventive maintenance/safety tests/calibration for medical equipment:- Performs calibration, preventive maintenance, and safety tests with limited supervision.- PM completion rate exceeds 90% for non-life support equipment.- PM completion rate achieves 100% for life support equipment.- Schedules PMs and informs the head of department in a timely fashion.- Documents entire procedure including follow-up on delinquent devices on a monthly basis.- Completes assignments monthly.- Performs safety inspections per HMH CT's PMP procedures.- Based on the results of the test, makes the immediate necessary corrections.- Can explain to the customer in common terms the testing results and necessary corrections.
