Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Support Nurse Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care by mentoring new graduate nurses and those transitioning to new specialties. This role will encompass multiple units and involves providing guidance and education on the hospital's nursing standards, policies, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct rounds on nursing units to observe and assess patient care quality.
• Identify educational needs within the nursing staff.
• Address any concerns regarding nursing skills and patient care effectively.
• Support nurses in integrating patient experience into their practice.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of starting.
• A minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an acute care environment is preferred.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• BSN is preferred.
