DescriptionThe Clinical Support Coordinator is a key administrative team member supporting the clinical education operations for both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs within the Lienhard School of Nursing. This full-time position is responsible for coordinating logistical, operational, and compliance-related processes that ensure the successful placement of students in clinical settings. The coordinator serves as a critical liaison, ensuring clear and timely communication with students, faculty, and clinical site partners. In addition to maintaining essential records and facilitating compliance requirements, the coordinator plays an active role in streamlining clinical placement procedures. Reporting to the Senior Director of Nursing Operations, the Clinical Support Coordinator works collaboratively across the Office of Academic Affairs (OAA) and is cross-trained to support other OAA Coordinator functions as needed.Position Duties Coordinate the administrative aspects of clinical placements for both undergraduate and graduate programs.Liaise with clinical sites to confirm placement availability, coordinate documentation, and maintain updated contact information.Support tracking of affiliation agreements and ensure required documents are current and compliant.Monitor and maintain placement databases (e.g., EXXAT) with accurate, real-time student and site data.Provide clear and timely communication to students regarding compliance requirements, onboarding documents, deadlines, and placement updates.Support faculty and course coordinators with site logistics, documentation, and student issues related to clinical placement.Help troubleshoot placement-related issues and escalate as necessary to the appropriate coordinator or director.Review and manage documentation for student health clearance, site requirements, and onboarding materials.Coordinate with other administrative teams to ensure compliance with accreditation, clinical, and academic standards.Maintain secure, organized records of clinical forms, site approvals, and certifications.Performs other such duties as may be assigned from time to time. Supervision Exercised None.RequirementsPosition Qualifications Baccalaureate degree in Health-Related field preferred (Bachelor's considered, based on experience).Strong computer proficiency to include Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoom.Experience in higher education is highly preferred but not required.Banner experience preferred.Excellent communication skills required.Strong interpersonal skills are essential to communicate effectively with a wide range of constituents.Excellent organizational skills including the ability to handle multiple assignments deliver expected outcomes on time and within budget, establish timelines, set priorities, and delegate as needed.Team oriented.Cultural sensitivity in all interactions.Work HoursMonday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours as needed.
