Position Summary: Serves as a liaison between patients and physicians, ensuring smooth and effective communication and coordination of care. Responsible for completing patient forms, obtaining medical records, and processing prescription renewal requests. Provides essential administrative support to the medical office by answering calls, routing messages, and managing medical and administrative correspondence. Maintains regular communication with patients, clinical staff, and medical providers to support departmental operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact between patients and healthcare providers.
- Complete and process patient forms and secure necessary medical records.
- Handle prescription refill requests promptly and accurately.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism.
- File and organize medical and administrative documents.
- Support overall administrative operations of the department.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of administrative or clerical experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
