Clinical Supervisor Location: Scranton, PA Reports to: Director Of Operations FLSA Status: Exempt Company: Provive Wellness of Scranton Job Summary The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the overall management of the clinical and administrative functions of the outpatient treatment programs at Provive Wellness of Scranton. This includes ensuring documentation compliance with state regulations, program development, accreditation standards, program marketing, hiring and supervising staff, managing authorizations, and evaluating and developing program policies. The Clinical Supervisor provides supervision and performance reviews to clinical staff, coordinates and evaluates all program services, and supports the Executive Director with problem solving, conflict resolution, and state inspection readiness, among other assigned tasks. Duties & Essential Job Functions
- Maintain 15 billables weekly (combination of individual caseload and group coverage).
- Supervise all administrative, clinical, and support staff activities.
- Monitor clinical operations, group programming, individual therapy, charting, and billing.
- Proactively plan and prepare group schedules and arrange coverage.
- Track client attendance and maintain at least an 80% attendance rate.
- Ensure timely follow-up and outreach for missed visits.
- Provide supervision for all staff, including weekly or biweekly individual and group supervision sessions, with documented supervision notes.
- Assist in researching and tailoring effective treatments for clients.
- Provide group and caseload coverage when needed.
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards, including updated treatment plans, session notes within 24 hours, ASAMs, and LOCUS assessments.
- Work with Utilization Review to manage billing needs and authorization reviews.
- Complete authorizations and utilization reviews as needed.
- Participate in recruiting and interviewing clinical staff.
- Complete annual performance evaluations for staff and assist with ongoing performance management.
- Provide staff development training and monitor credentialing compliance.
- Network with other organizations to increase the referral base.
- Serve as the leader of the multidisciplinary Clinical Treatment Team.
- Evaluate the quality of clinical programming and ancillary services on an ongoing basis.
- Observe groups to ensure quality programming.
- Review step-downs and ensure exhaustion of authorizations; review all discharges.
- Promote a culture of safety for clients and employees, including proper reporting and prevention of medical errors.
- Promote treatment services to prospective clients and the community.
- Ensure compliance with urine drug screening requirements based on level of care.
- Promote and supervise scheduling and productivity standards for all clinicians.

Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a Behavioral Health or Administrative Related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment.
- Minimum 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience.
- Supervisory or management experience at a state-licensed facility preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency.
