We are currently hiring a Clinical Specialist, to work in our Catholic Charities Disabilities Services agency. As the Clinical Specialist, you would be responsible for:
+ Assisting the Nurse Manager, RNs and LPNs with managing the heath care needs of the individuals served in the agencys Residential Program.
+ Remaining in communication with Program staff and management, providers, nurses, doctors, ER staff, case management, pharmacies, parents, guardians, advocates, school administrators and Agency leadership.
+ Providing direct support to individuals served in the agency as-needed.
+ Possessing knowledge of basic medical terms, proper medication administrations, and other clinical disciplines.
Clinical Specialist Minimum Salary: $20.06/hour
Clinical Specialist Maximum Salary: $20.06/hour
Clinical Specialist Schedule: M-F 8:30am 5pm; May be required to work extended hours or a flexible schedule with short notice
Qualifications:
+ Valid NYS Drivers License
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ 2 years of experience as a Direct Support Professional in the I/DD field
