Psychiatry Services of New York, part of the Optum family of businesses, is eager to welcome dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Workers to our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to our mission of enhancing healthcare for everyone. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week on-site at our Baldwinsville, NY location.

As a Clinical Social Worker, you will address a diverse range of mental health conditions, reflecting the unique needs of our patient population. We provide extensive support—from clinical operations like credentialing to business operations such as contracting—so you can concentrate on what truly matters: delivering exceptional care.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Conducting thorough screenings and assessments for common mental health disorders.
  • Delivering treatment for mental health conditions through various evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy.
  • Systematically monitoring and tracking treatment responses, as well as any changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects.
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
  • Clear, active, and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of New York.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional social work or clinical experience after obtaining your master's degree.
  • Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
  • Proficiency in using computers for communication and medical documentation (e.g., Excel, Outlook, EHRs).
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

The salary for this role ranges from $58,800 to $105,000 annually, depending on full-time employment factors such as experience and location. UnitedHealth Group offers an extensive array of benefits and recognizes each employee's contributions.
