Clinical Social Worker - New York State Unified Court System : Job Details

The 7th Judicial District, Monroe Supreme and County Court, is seeking a dedicated and organized Resource Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of the Integrated Domestic Violence (IDV) Court. This position plays a critical role in fostering collaboration among stakeholders, managing case flows, and ensuring a coordinated approach to addressing domestic violence cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining partnerships with community service providers and ensuring compliance with court orders and service referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain relationships with community partners and service providers.
• Serve as the courtroom representative for problem-solving parts and units.
• Prepare written reports, including case summaries, progress reports, and other documentation as required by the court.
• Update and maintain case files, ensuring that all information is accurately entered into the case management system.
• Facilitate meetings and communication between stakeholders, ensuring that a coordinated and comprehensive approach is taken to address the needs of domestic violence victims and offenders.
• Manage the case management process to ensure proper reporting, tracking, and monitoring for compliance with court orders and service referrals.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of satisfactory full-time experience in social casework with a recognized public or private agency adhering to accepted professional standards;

or

Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor Trainee (CASAC-T) and two (2) years of satisfactory full-time experience in social casework with a recognized public or private agency adhering to accepted professional standards;

or

An equivalent combination of education and experience.
