Through this community of healers, scientists, and scholars, Rutgers is equipped as never before to transform lives.Posting Summary Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Trauma Department within New Jersey Medical School. We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Clinical Research Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations of a multi-component NIH R01-funded study. This role is critical to ensuring the study's successful implementation, regulatory compliance, and sustainability over the grant period. The Clinical Research Coordinator will serve as a central point of coordination among investigators, institutions, and regulatory bodies. Among the key duties of the position are the following:
  • Oversee all operational aspects of the NIH R01-funded research project to ensure fidelity to the protocol and alignment with scientific aims.
  • Coordinate communication and activities across multiple investigators, research sites, and institutions.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring adherence to project goals and deadlines.
  • Supervise data collection procedures and ensure data integrity, quality control, and timely reporting.
  • Support regulatory submissions and ensure compliance with IRB, NIH, and institutional policies.
  • Track and manage project budgets, subawards, and expenditures in coordination with grants and finance teams.
