Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Nurse Manager who will oversee clinical and operational functions of an assigned unit, reporting to the Nursing Director. You will manage unit activities in the absence of the Director, work collaboratively with a phenomenal team, and enhance patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating unit functions during your shift.
• Directing, monitoring, and evaluating nursing care in line with established policies.
• Acting as a resource for staff and promoting the organization's values and mission.
• Managing staff responsibilities and coordinating patient placement based on acuity and skill mix.
• Identifying and addressing educational needs within the unit.
• Leading patient care conferences and addressing discharge needs.
• Making informed clinical decisions based on patient condition changes.
• Ensuring timely and appropriate execution of medical orders.

Job Requirements

• Valid Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license (Compact license holders must obtain Florida license within 60 days).
• BLS certification from AHA required within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years of acute care RN experience preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be completed within 30 days.
• Bachelor's degree, RN Diploma, or Associate Degree required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications (or instructors) to be obtained within 6 months.
• Neonate Resuscitation certification must be obtained within 30 days.
