SUMMARY: The Clinical Manager will provide clinical support to program staff and provide clinical assessment, diagnostic and case management services to assigned caseload. Through leadership, the Clinical Manager will foster a positive work environment and mentor, lead and develop staff members. The Clinical Manager will assist in the development of strategies that allow for continued growth to meet the mission, vision and values of the corporation while achieving fiscal stability. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide diagnostic evaluation, group and individual therapy services to clients in accordance with the scope of practice. - Ensure continuing care plans are completed with treatment recommendations established. - Review clinical records of assigned program staff to evaluate appropriate level of care. - Perform case management responsibilities as needed. - Under the direction of the Clinical Director, provide clinical mentoring to program staff - Complete timely, accurate and complete documentation of all clinical services. - Assure clinical programming schedule and is maintained for all clients. - Audit charts for time accuracy and overlap of time for billing purposes and clinical documentation as needed or requested. - Assist the Clinical Director with program operations as needed or requested. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Masters level licensure with LPC/LPCC/LPCC-S/MSW/LISW or LCDCII/LICDL/LICDL-S - Professional experience with management and staff supervision, including working with a team. - Must have minimum three years' experience working in alcohol/drug treatment. - Must be able to form good working and therapeutic relationships. - Must be organized, detail oriented and able to maintain confidentiality of client and personnel information. - Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: - Must demonstrate proficiency in the assessment of the population served and development of individual treatment plans in accordance with ASAM guidelines. - Must demonstrate proficiency with various computer software programs utilized for business and EMR purposes. - Must demonstrate the ability to effectively function as a leader. - Must demonstrate the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently. - Must possess and demonstrate exceptional communication and organizational skills. - Must possess and demonstrate the ability to problem solve quickly and effectively using excellent critical thinking skills. - Must demonstrate the ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in significant matters. - Must demonstrate the ability to relate with empathy and sensitivity to staff, clients and the community.
