Clinical Liaison (Exempt) - Mercy Health : Job Details

Assess and evaluate patient eligibility for admission to the Rehab Center, communicates with physicians, patients, and families to provide information related to the patient's admission, rehabilitation, and discharge. Qualifications: Experience: This clinician needs to a minimum of 2 years of healthcare admissions experience as well as three years clinical experience in rehab or acute services. Required Education: The screener must be a licensed clinician (PT, OT, ST, SW, RT, RN, LPN) in the state of practice. Preferred Education: Bachelor's or Master's in health-related field of study. Other: Good verbal and written communication skills. Clinical experience required with demonstrated skills in clinical assessments and marketing. Requires a professional level of knowledge in physician relations and interfacing with insurance companies.
