At TriStar Centennial Medical Center, your role significantly impacts our patients and gives you an opportunity to make a meaningful difference. We are seeking a committed Clinical Laboratory Technologist to enhance our team.

You Will:

• Conduct accurate and timely laboratory testing by analyzing proficiency samples and completing assessments within the specified timeframe.
• Take on departmental responsibilities in the supervisor's absence.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation of patient results.
• Execute urgent procedures within established turnaround time targets.
• Utilize sound judgment and independent analysis for interpreting patient results, including delta checks.
• Address pending logs and result logs, ensuring that outstanding workloads are communicated effectively.
• Perform quality control procedures according to protocol while managing any problematic or critical laboratory specimens/test results.

You Should Have:

• A minimum of an Associate's Degree.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
• At least one year of experience as a Medical Technologist is preferred.
• A valid State of Florida Technologist License (or the capability to obtain one during the interview process).
• Licensure in one or more clinical specialty areas; a generalist licensure is highly favorable.
