Position Overview:

This full-time role operates on the first shift within the Chemistry department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out essential patient care processes through moderate and high complexity testing.
  • Analyze, review, and report testing results accurately.
  • Identify and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced laboratory environment, adhering to safety and quality control standards.
  • Champion safety and compliance in all laboratory operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology; or Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Biological, or Physical Science with one year of Medical Technology training.
  • A minimum of one year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing.
  • Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or an equivalent body.
  • Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment, including computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, pipettes, and alarms.

Preferred Experience:

  • Two or more years of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing relevant to your specialty.
