Perform procedures across all lab work phases, including hematology, chemistry, serology, microbiology, blood banking, coagulation, clinical microscopy, urinalysis, and quality control. Collect specimens from patients of all ages, demonstrating competency in phlebotomy, patient education, and reference values. Clerical responsibilities include performing documentation duties, adhering to information management protocols, and complying with billing and coding regulations. Additionally, handle equipment maintenance and housekeeping as needed. Testing personnel are responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and reporting results. Conduct high, moderate, and waived complexity tests authorized by the laboratory director, ensuring adherence to testing procedures, quality control policies, and documentation requirements. Identify and report test performance issues, follow corrective actions, and maintain compliance with laboratory standards. Degree requirements: Bachelors degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
