Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for Clinical Lab Technologist positions to support our client's healthcare system in Rochester, Minnesota. This is a 13-week contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension—a great opportunity to join a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Details:

Job Title: Clinical Lab Technologist

Location: Rochester, Minnesota

Schedule: 40 hours/week

Shift: 5x8 Days (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Contract Length: 52 Weeks

Weekly: $1262

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Clinical Lab Technologist responsible for conducting high-quality diagnostic testing on blood, tissue, and body fluids. This role plays a vital part in supporting patient care by delivering accurate, timely laboratory results in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment. Responsibilities include instrument operation and maintenance, troubleshooting assays, evaluating test accuracy, reporting results, and ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and laboratory protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of laboratory tests using manual and automated techniques
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and systems
  • Troubleshoot testing and instrumentation issues
  • Ensure accuracy and timely reporting of test results
  • Work with multiple EMR and LIS systems to retrieve data and document results
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and assist with specimen collection if needed
  • Follow all lab safety protocols related to infectious specimens and hazardous materials

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or Biological Science
  • ASCP Certification
  • Ability to produce accurate results under pressure
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills
  • Flexibility for off-shifts, holiday, on-call, and weekend work

Preferred Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting lab instrumentation and assay systems
  • Previous work in a teaching hospital or high-volume clinical setting
