Job Title: Clinical Lab Technologist - Blood Bank Location: Bronx, NY 10451 Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)Shift: Day or Night (Choose your preference) Pay Range: $60 - $65/hr. on W2 Travel Package: Available for eligible candidatesJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lab Technologist (NYSED registered ) with specialized Blood Bank Services expertise to join our team in Bronx, NY. This is a 13-week contract assignment with potential for extension. Ideal for medical technologists looking for high-paying, short-term roles in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ABO/Rh blood typing and ensure accurate patient/donor compatibility.
• Conduct antibody screening and identification for safe transfusions.
• Execute crossmatching procedures to confirm blood unit compatibility.
• Prepare, label, and issue blood components like RBCs, plasma, and platelets.
• Operate and maintain automated analyzers and follow all QC protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Active NY State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license.
• At least 1 year of recent experience, working as Lab tech in a hospital-based Blood Bank
• BLS preferred.
• Ability to work independently in high-volume, urgent-care environments.
