Clinical Educator: Staff Development & Simulation Center Coordination - Comprehensive Clinical Care - Full Time - Days - The Henry Ford Health System : Job Details

The Clinical Educator is responsible for improving patient education and staff competency through direct education, role modeling, leading orientation, patient education and annual competency evaluation. Provides assistance in staff development related to new technology. Must have the ability to enhance and improve an individual's performance along with their organizational skills. Additionally, the Simulation Center Coordination includes assisting with day-to-day operations of the simulation center: setting up, operating, and maintaining the simulation mannequins, multimedia, computers, and related equipment. The ideal candidate will work half time in simulation center and the other half in clinical education.
