Position: Clinical Educator - Beacon Medical Group (BMG) Department: BMG Administration Reports To: Director or Manager, BMG Administration Location: Various Beacon Medical Group Sites About the Role The Clinical Educator plays a vital role in supporting high-quality patient care by designing and delivering clinical education for staff across Beacon Medical Group. This includes onboarding, ongoing competency training, and regulatory certification for roles such as RN, LPN, CMA, RMA, CCMA, and CCA. In this position, you will assess training needs, create customized education plans, lead in-person and virtual sessions, and coach clinical staff to ensure knowledge, confidence, and compliance in practice. You'll also empower lead clinical staff through train-the-trainer programs and serve as a trusted resource across Beacon Medical Group locations. Key Responsibilities Training & Education Delivery
  • Assess clinical learning needs across locations and roles
  • Develop and deliver onboarding and continuing education for clinical team members
  • Lead engaging training sessions both in groups and one-on-one
  • Create and maintain training materials, lesson plans, evaluations, and competency tools
  • Facilitate train-the-trainer programs to support peer-led education in practices
Program & Curriculum Management
  • Track training attendance, completion, and competency validation
  • Use learning management systems (e.g., NetLearning, Mosby) to manage course content and reporting
  • Recommend follow-up education based on performance observations and feedback
Compliance & Clinical Excellence
  • Deliver and manage certification programs (e.g., CPR, TB, EKG, PPE usage)
  • Stay current with healthcare regulations and standards impacting clinical training
  • Support infection control and safety protocols through ongoing staff education
Professional Growth & Collaboration
  • Maintain required licensure and certifications (e.g., CPR Instructor, TB Validator)
  • Engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership and cross-functional teams to support clinical initiatives and performance improvement
What You Bring Education & Licensure
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN required)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana
  • CPR Instructor and TB Validator certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Experience
  • 3+ years of nursing experience in a clinical environment
  • 2+ years of experience in clinical training, education, or staff development
  • Ambulatory or multi-site healthcare experience (preferred)
  • Certification in a clinical specialty (preferred)
Skills & Abilities
  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles and clinical education methods
  • Comfortable teaching diverse audiences and adapting to various learning styles
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and learning management systems
  • Willingness to travel across Beacon Medical Group sites
Working Environment
  • Primary work occurs in clinical environments and training classrooms across multiple BMG sites
  • Requires regular travel within the region
  • Involves standing, demonstrating procedures, and light equipment handling
