Job Requisition: REQ3892 Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 40 hour/week Hiring Range : $19.30- $25.83 The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. Responsibilities:

  • Supports departmental staff in completing administrative duties including, but not limited to, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, setting up meeting rooms, preparing agendas, photocopying, managing calendars, filing.
  • Assists staff with facilitating educational programs including clinical orientation and in-service educations. Coordinates the administration of academic student management. Assures that the planning and event coordination are completed according to the established timeline and schedule.
  • May provide assistance to the department with the learning management system, reviewing course content, processing and analyzing reports and general maintenance.
  • Supports the Shared Governance Structure and Nursing Excellence initiatives for Pathway to Excellence.
  • Supports the Clinical Education team as needed. Ability to train and orient unlicensed associates regarding patient care, such as bed functionality, use of wheelchair, feeding patients, fall prevention, taking vital signs...)
  • May complete special projects for Clinical Education or Patient Care Services.
  • Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required in order to accommodate all staff from throughout the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
  • Associate degree, or a minimum of three (3) years of administrative/secretarial experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum three (3) years of experience with teaching management systems and databases within a health-related field preferred. Patient care background, Nurse Aide or Patient Care Technician experience required. Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English. Required Skills & Attributes:
