Job Description:Baptist Health is looking for a Clinical Documentation Integrity Data Analytics Nurse to join our team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or INClinical Documentation Auditor/Educator is accountable to ensuring the overall quality ofclinical documentation integrity functions across Baptist Health. Auditor/Educator assists the CDI team, physicians, and hospital staff to constantly improve the integrity of medical record documentation utilizing their clinical validation and coding expertise. The Auditor/Educator will provide guidance on documentation best practices by keeping up-to-date knowledge of Coding Clinic, coding guidelines, and clinical validation criteria.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required- Bachelor's degree with three years acute healthcare nursing experience including two years clinical documentation integrityexperience; In lieu of Bachelor's degree, an associate degree in nursing with five years acute healthcare experience including two years clinical documentation integrity experience.
- Knowledge of ICD10-CM coding principles and procedures, DRG assignment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, data entry and data retrieval systems, Encoder, and internet.
- Valid Kentucky or Indiana Licensure as a Registered Nurse, CCDS and/or CDIP, member of ACDIS or AHIM
