About the Role As Clinical Director, you will provide leadership and vision to the nursing and clinical teams, ensuring high-quality, resident-focused care every day. You'll manage resident health through ongoing monitoring and collaboration with healthcare providers, while fostering a motivated, stable team dedicated to excellence. You may also step in as Executive Director when needed to keep the community running smoothly. What You'll Do
- Lead, hire, train, and mentor the Wellness team with a strong emphasis on teamwork and open communication
- Promote and uphold CAPLICO values, resident rights, HIPAA compliance, and a respectful environment
- Ensure resident safety by proactively identifying risks and preventing harm
- Oversee infection control and regulatory compliance, including staffing levels and immunization tracking
- Collaborate with leadership, residents, families, and external providers to optimize care plans
- Manage clinical assessments, documentation, and quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in community and cluster meetings and support financial planning and budgeting
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies and unexpected situations
- Maintain valid licenses and certifications and pursue ongoing professional development

What We're Looking For
- Current license/certification as required by state/federal bodies
- Minimum 1 year experience in assisted living or healthcare settings
- Proven leadership/supervisory experience in clinical or healthcare environments
- Current CPR certification and any other required state-specific certifications
- Strong computer skills and ability to use electronic records and communications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Work Environment & Physical Demands You'll work throughout the community engaging with residents, staff, families, and visitors. The role requires physical stamina, including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50-70 pounds, and responding effectively to emergencies.
