The Spanish Speaking Elderly Council – RAICES is seeking a strategic and compassionate Social Work Clinical Director to oversee the clinical operations of our outpatient behavioral health clinic. The Clinical Director will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure clinical excellence, support staff development, and foster a culture of care for our aging and Spanish-speaking communities
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership: Oversee day-to-day clinical operations to ensure high-quality, ethical, and culturally responsive care.
- Supervision & Staff Development: Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and professional development for licensed and pre-licensed staff. Identify training needs and implement development plans.
- Program Development & Evaluation: Design, implement, and evaluate clinical programs and policies that align with client needs and agency goals.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, including quality improvement initiatives and OMH compliance.
- Operations & Budget Management: Monitor program workflows and manage clinical budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Collect and analyze clinical data to evaluate service delivery and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Collaboration & Communication: Promote teamwork among interdisciplinary staff and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) required
- LCSW license in good standing with New York State required
- Minimum 7 years of clinical experience with 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience working with multicultural, multilingual populations
- Fluent in Spanish (speaking and writing) required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR systems
