Job Title: Clinical Dietitian

Location: Watertown, NY 13601

Shift: Days (40 hours) rotating weekend coverage

Salary Range: $28/hr - $37.10/hr. + Benefits

Job Description:

• Seeking a Clinical Dietitian who will assume responsibility for the overall nutritional well-being of our patients and residents.
• You will be expected to work alongside the medical staff and interdisciplinary team to determine the plan of care promoting the best outcomes for our patients/residents and their families.

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will conduct nutrition assessments, Identifying residents at risk for malnutrition.
• Perform Nutrition Focused Physical Exam (NFPE) to determine degree of malnutrition.
• Create diet plans, and monitor the effectiveness of interventions.
• Provide nutrition education to patient/residents, families and personnel.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in human Nutrition and Dietetics required.
• Registered Dietitian or Registration Eligible required.
• Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist in NYS preferred.
• One year acute care or long term care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technical expertise in Point Click Care, Meditech, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
• Displays excellent customer service skills.
