Clinical Coordinator - Family Birth Center - Memorial Health System : Job Details

Functions in the specified nursing specialty as a practitioner, mentor, educator and leader. Qualifications Must be a registered nurse in the State of Illinois. Graduate of a masters program in nursing preferred. Nurses who are currently pursuing a BSN may be considered if acceptable to associated colleges. One-on-one care training required. Responsibilities Practitioner: Provides quality patient care and coordinates nursing practice through a comprehensive approach to the management of patients with conditions related to specialty and with environmental issues related to infection control. Mentor: Role models an integrated approach toward patient care. Serves as a clinical leader consultant to health care providers within the hospital system and to the community for nursing practice issues related to specialty knowledge.
