Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate IDD Reviewer to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to our developmentally disabled residents. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience working with developmentally disabled individuals in a residential setting. Must be a Dc Resident.

Responsibilities:

*Conduct detailed evaluations of residents to assess their individual needs, strengths, and challenges.

*Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized service plans for each resident.

*Conduct interviews with residents and their families to gather valuable in sights into the effectiveness of services provided and to ensure their voices are heard.

*Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident progress and any changes in their condition or needs.

*Stay informed about the latest advancements, techniques, and best practices in the field of developmental disabilities.

*Liaise with external agencies and funding sources, particularly Medicaid and Medicare, to ensure proper documentation and billing procedures.

*Advocate for residents' rights and well-being, promoting their independence and community inclusion.

*Provide training and guidance to staff members on effective strategies for working with developmentally disabled individuals.

Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work,Special Education) preferred. Must have.

*3 to 5 years of direct experience working with developmentally disabled individuals in a residential setting.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for conducting interviews, collaborating with teams, and interacting with residents and their families. * Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare procedures and regulations related to service provision. * Empathetic and patient demeanor, with a genuine commitment to improving the lives of developmentally disabled individuals. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and documentation. * Ability to adapt to changing situations and needs, demonstrating flexibility in a dynamic environment. * Proficiency in computer software and systems for maintaining electronic records and communication. * Currently the team is working remotely, visits are made weekly to patients all located in Washington DC.
