The Clinical Care Assistant (Medical Assistant) I support the examination and treatment of patients in Medical Centers, working under the guidance of a physician or nurse. This entry-level medical assisting role offers opportunities for on-the-job training and advancement to higher-level positions upon certification. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Interview patients, record vital signs, and update patient charts. Assist in managing daily patient flow as needed. Provide direct patient care, perform indirect patient care activities, and conduct laboratory tests under the supervision of a physician or nurse. Maintain a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment. Administer vaccines, medications (IM/ SC/ ID/ Oral), EK - Gs, and assist with procedures/treatments under physician supervision. Perform supervised lab work upon skill sign-off by a nurse or physician based on physician orders. Prepare instrumental equipment for sterilization.
