Job Description :

Amazon has one of the largest & most trusted shipping networks in India (ATS). We want to extend the benefits of these shipping services to D2C brands and SMBs to help them serve their customers better & grow their business. This role will be responsible for managing and growing B2B relationships with our key shipper accounts.

We are seeking a street-smart, result-oriented candidate with B2B sales and business development experience, preferably from the shipping & logistics industry. The candidate should thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, handle ambiguity and changing priorities effectively, and be collaborative, data-driven, and analytical. The individual should strive to deepen their understanding of industry metrics.

You will develop an understanding of the product and target market, create account management strategies to retain and grow shippers, and win business volume. Additionally, maintaining positive shipper relations by managing critical input levers is essential.

Key job responsibilities
  • Deliver positive experience to assigned shipper accounts and resolve all queries.
  • Develop individual client servicing strategies at a shipper level.
  • Understand and reinforce internal systems and operational capabilities, aligning with shipper expectations.
  • Resolve shipper queries by liaising with internal stakeholders across programs and operations.
  • Implement proactive and reactive measures on service parameters like operations, claims, and escalations.
  • Follow standard operating processes to scale the function's operations.
A day in the life
  • Enable data transparency by resolving MIS queries.
  • Ensure all API statuses are updated and pushed.
  • Arrange pickups and deliveries for escalated shipments through effective mechanisms.
  • Train shippers on passing correct NDR feedback and claims.
  • Monitor shipper performance and derive insights.
  • Identify non-value-added tasks and find automation or reduction solutions.
  • Act as a custodian of the shipper experience and cascade feedback internally.
  • Serve as an effective bridge between shippers and internal sales, account management, and cross-functional stakeholders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • 3+ years of data analysis and formula creation in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using data to identify root causes and improve processes.
  • Over 3 years of experience in B2B client servicing or customer service.
  • Proven ability to understand business metrics and streamline escalations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi; additional languages are a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in operations, supply chain, or logistics.
  • Experience with e-commerce or logistics industries.
  • Deep understanding of the B2C transportation landscape in India, with prior interactions with shippers.
