Client Services Specialist – Banking & Returns Hybrid Schedule | Rochester, NY $25/hr
We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our Client Services team, supporting the resolution of returned banking items while providing excellent service to clients. This role involves research, problem-solving, and communication with both clients and internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
What You'll DoResearch and resolve returned banking items in a timely and accurate manner
Provide quality customer service to clients and internal partners
Educate clients on resolution processes and alternative service options
Collaborate with mentors and team members to manage client issues through completion
Process daily reports and updates to ensure accuracy and compliance
Handle inbound phone calls and meet departmental service standards
Stay current with training, policies, and regulations (including NACHA and FDCPA)
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred
1+ years of experience in customer service, call center, or related field required
Experience in finance, accounting, payroll, banking, or collections is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) preferred
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Training (6–8 weeks): Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
After training: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM
Hybrid: In-office Monday–Wednesday; remote Thursday & Friday (quiet home workspace and reliable internet required)
