Position Overview Valitana is seeking a talented Client Services Associate to support our Vantage Client Success team. The individual in this role will become an expert in Valitana's multi-asset class trade and portfolio management system, providing a white glove service to our clients, and helping them maximize the platform's potential by guiding them through its features and providing solutions for their unique needs.
Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality support to Valitana's clients such as Hedge Funds, Banks, Trustees, Insurance firms, and CLO/ABL Managers.
- Analyze financial metrics and dive into fixed income, private credit, and various deal structures including ABL (Asset-based Lending) and CLO's (Collateralized Loan Obligations).
- Assist with maintaining compliance for SMA (Separately Managed Accounts) and compliance for managed deals.
- Provide effective guidance to users on leveraging Valitana's Vantage platform.
- Use advanced Excel skills to develop spreadsheets for client-specific needs using the Valitana plugin for data integration and calculations.
- Assist clients in uploading and managing data within the Vantage platform. Build custom metrics and workflows for clients and prospects.
Qualifications - 1-3+ years of professional work experience in a role related to Math, Engineering, Finance, or Financial Operations. Client-facing is a plus but not required.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school.
- The ability to comprehend complex financial concepts with familiarity of structured finance products.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Resourceful with the ability to work as a team and independently.
- Python is a plus but not required.
What We Offer The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000. Valitana offers a competitive compensation package which includes base salary and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, healthcare with medical, dental, vision, telemedicine, and PTO. Employees in this role will work in the office Mondays through Wednesdays with the flexibility to work remotely Thursdays and Fridays.
