Position Summary

The Client Services Associate is responsible for providing exceptional support to clients and their consultants invested in TCWs alternative investment products. This role involves managing client inquiries, preparing investor materials and reports, overseeing operational activities related to client accounts, and supporting marketing and fundraising efforts for TCWs private funds. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of alternative investments, excellent client service skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to ensure a positive client experience.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and consultants, addressing needs and building relationships.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, providing accurate and timely solutions.
  • Prepare investor materials, including presentations, reports, and data analysis.
  • Manage administrative and operational tasks such as onboarding, transactions, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Distribution, Investment Operations, Compliance, Legal) to facilitate requests and resolve issues.
  • Liaise with fund partners and administrators to support client orders and ensure transaction accuracy.
  • Assist with marketing and fundraising activities for new funds and vehicles.
  • Support due diligence processes and manage investor inquiries and data rooms.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience.
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelors degree.
    • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in finance, focusing on client service or operations.
    • Knowledge of capital markets and alternative investments.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • High organizational skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.

    Desired Qualifications
    • Series 7 and 63 licenses.

    Compensation and Benefits

    Base Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 for CA-based positions. This is the salary range only.

    Other Compensation: Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
