This Client Onboarding Consultant is responsible for managing end-to-end client onboarding processes including conducting KYC due diligence, OFAC and negative news screening, and preparing required documentation based on client risk levels. The position requires close coordination with internal teams and external clients, attention to regulatory compliance, and the ability to prioritize onboarding cases to meet deadlines efficiently.

Client Details

Our client is an investment bank and well-known asset manager located in Midtown New York City with $9 trillion under assets. They are hiring 1 Client Onboarding Consultant for a 6-Month Contract with potential opportunity to extend. The consultant will be required to work two days on-site in the client's New York City office.

Description

  • Manage end-to-end client onboarding.
  • Prepare KYC packages and perform due diligence, including Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), based on client risk ratings.
  • Conduct OFAC and Negative News screenings on clients and related parties.
  • Liase directly with Front Office, clients, and internal teams such as Legal, Compliance, and Operations.
  • Ensure onboarding processes meet internal audit requirements and reccomend efficiency improvements where needed.

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in client onboarding, KYC, or similar compliance-related function at a Bank or Financial Services Institution.
  • Ability to work on-site two days per week at our client's Midtown New York City office.
