Overview
BetterUp is seeking a Client Delivery Director (CDD) to lead the formation and orchestration of the post-sale strategy and execution for our largest and most strategic clients. The role is hybrid with in-person collaboration required; you will be expected to work from a BetterUp office hub at least two days per week or eight days per month. US hubs: Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; New York City, NY; San Francisco, CA; Washington, DC metro. Europe hubs: London, UK and Amsterdam, NL. As BetterUp's Client Delivery Director, you'll drive the delivery of the platform for clients and align delivery with client needs and outcomes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What You'll Do
- Delivery Management: Orchestrate the end-to-end technical and operational delivery of the BetterUp platform. Capture client requirements, scope deliverables and milestones, and contribute to strategic delivery process improvements that enhance client outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with client executives and program leadership post-sale. Serve as the primary point of contact for delivery needs, ensuring a superior client experience.
- Governance: Design and run mechanisms to monitor delivery efficacy, timeliness, value realization, and customer experience. Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Communications & Change Management: Provide regular client updates on delivery status, risks, and outcomes. Manage communications and change management across client and internal stakeholders.
- Collaboration & Advocacy: Lead post-sale planning and execution across cross-functional teams (Customer Success, People Insights, Services, Product). Champion Voice of Customer with product and GTM leadership.
- Risk & Escalation Management: Manage issue/escalation and risk processes from identification to resolution. Lead escalation management with client stakeholders.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of software and/or service delivery experience (execution and/or leadership)
- 5+ years leading enterprise-wide SaaS platform deployments (operational and technical delivery)
- Excellent communication skills with executive and operating-level stakeholders (business and technical personas)
- Ability to influence and work cross-functionally across an organization
- Strong program/project management skills (Scrum/Agile a plus)
- Ability to anticipate risk and drive proactive remediation
- Extensive experience advising, coaching, influencing, and building relationships with executive-level clients at Fortune 1000 companies
- Minimum 20% travel required (client onsite travel)
Benefits & Compensation
Base salary range for this role:
- $245,000 – $275,000 for New York City and San Francisco
- $230,000 – $255,000 for all other locations
