The role involves providing high-quality audits related to risk adjustment coding efforts. Responsibilities include managing daily auditing operations, educating stakeholders on improvement opportunities, and collaborating with management to set benchmarks, thresholds, and quality assurance programs.

You will:

  • Maintain a quality assurance program
  • Ensure coding compliance and accuracy
  • Monitor risk adjustment operations internally and with vendors
  • Provide expertise on coding compliance for new and existing services, ensuring adherence to organizational, federal, state, and third-party requirements
  • Communicate findings through presentations, reports, and educational programs
  • Report to leadership on audit findings and implement necessary changes
  • Support audit processes and identify process improvements
  • Assist in developing training programs on coding techniques
  • Train new auditors and staff as needed
  • Share program, quality, and initiative updates with management monthly
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years related coding experience, with at least 5 years in risk adjustment coding (ACA and MA)
  • Expert knowledge of Risk Adjustment
  • Strong research, problem resolution, and interpersonal skills
  • Managerial, financial, and analytical skills
  • Commitment to quality, customer focus, and process improvement
  • Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels
  • Experience managing remote operations
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience developing policies and internal controls

We are committed to diversity and equal employment opportunity. The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is $78,000—$92,000 USD. This position requires post-offer health screenings and vaccinations, with exemptions reviewed case-by-case. The role is not eligible for sponsorship.
