QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or G.E.D. Successful clerical experience preferred. REPORTS TO: Principal JOB GOAL: Performs a wide variety of clerical duties including filing and maintaining records or reports in support of a school. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and terms of employment according to approved salary schedules. EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the district evaluation plan. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates various office equipment to perform duties.
- Prepares letters, schedules, forms or other materials as assigned.
- Maintains a variety of logs, records and files related to assigned office.
- Schedules appointments and meetings; maintains schedules and calendars.
- Sorts and distributes incoming mail.
- Answers telephone; takes and relays messages.
- Greets students and the public and provides routine information.
- Maintains supply and material inventory for assigned area.
- Copies and distributes a variety of records, reports and other materials as directed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
