Job Description Accountable for securing, inventory and subsequent release of property belonging to all children admitted to the Dallas County Juvenile Department Detention Center including currency, jewelry, clothing, etc. Responsibilities 1. Establishes control methods to ensure accuracy of property received and of property received and released. 2. Releases clothing and other valuables to children/parents at the time of release. 3. Assigns and secures clothing in lockers. 4. Maintains property receipts to verify accuracy of valuables. 5. Provides training to staff handling property. 6. Performs related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education, Experience and Training: Education and experience equivalent to Graduation from an accredited high school/GED or additional equivalent job related experience. One (1) year work related experience. Special Requirements: Must pass criminal background check. Physical/Environmental Requirements: Normal office environment.
