Job Type Full-time Description Summary & Objective To provide administrative support to the Department doing clerical and computer related tasks. Duties and responsibilities are to be carried out in a manner consistent with the mission; values and operating principles of the Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Miami, Inc.; willing to take initiative to assist others as a team player. Essential Functions

  • Responsible for file room maintenance.
  • Assists with rotating coverage of the reception area
  • Assists in inputting and making copies of all burials and emailing the schedule to cemetery and maintenance staff
  • Responsible to maintain the Burial stats monthly
  • Voiding contracts/invoices in HMIS.
  • Assist with entering burials into HMIS and making copies of all burials and transfer in and out of cemetery staff.
  • Responsible for making At-Need folders in English and Spanish that are given to clients
  • Assist in providing general information to sales force daily.
  • Verify availability of inventory, reservations, SWAPS or temporary location
  • Verify customer files.
  • Provides information via email and/or phone call.

  • Provides orientation to new employees as needed.
  • Maintain your required license, certifications and mandatory skill updates.

Supervisory Responsibility
  • May serve as an interim department leader depending on need
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 250+ pounds, walk, climb stair or ladders, stand on feet for extended periods of time, etc.
