DESCRIPTION OF WORKThe Clerical Assistant 2 in this position will provide clerical support to the Facility and Grounds Director of the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. The successful candidate will have responsibility for answering incoming phone calls, including requests for urgent and emergency work; compose letters and correspondence; maintain transportation and housekeeping logs and schedules; and complete internal and external requests for supplies and equipment. Additional duties include scheduling repair work with vendors, schedules project meetings, enter shopping carts for procurement, and proofreads any statements of work for contractors.
