Job Location : Irving,TX, USA
Responsible for maintaining and repairing major pieces of hotel equipment, provide guest service, and be one of the hotel's First Responders in emergency situations. This role will be a support to the Engineering Supervisor and Engineering team leadership.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain all the Refrigeration equipment in the building.
Maintain all HVAC equipment in the building (guestrooms, public areas, function rooms).
Maintain all kitchen equipment in the building.
Maintain all Laundry equipment in the building.
Provide technical assistance to other engineers as necessary.
Work on other projects as needed.
Maintain inventory and orders all equipment supplies.
Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
QualificationsPrevious maintenance experience required, hotel experience and training preferred. Minimum of two years hotel and/or commercial building maintenance required.
608 HVAC license is preferred.
Electrical Journeyman License is preferred.
One year of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment experience is required, commercial refrigeration experience is a plus.
Refrigeration experience preferred.
Previous experience with response to emergency situations is required.
Good communication, attention to detail, time management, computer and guest satisfaction skills are required.
The ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
The ability to bend, reach over-head, squat, kneel for extended periods of time.
The ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
The ability to utilize step stools and ladders.
Must be able to work AM, PM, overnight, weekend and holiday shifts. Schedule will vary according to business and operational needs.
Refrigeration experience preferred.
