Claims Processor - NFI Industries : Job Details

The Claims Processor will research all returns from customer to determine accuracy of the return. This position will investigate all claims of lost and damaged shipment claims. This is a fast-paced role that relies on high attention to detail, ability to multi task, and adapt to company needs as things change. Responsibilities Oversee the claims process by covering all bases for the approval to pay or deny a claim. Maintains claims registry for both NFI and the customer. Maintains delivery receipts. Maintains un-manifested PO Spreadsheets daily, entering new claims into the claims spreadsheet. Retrieves files needed from SAP where the claims are initially entered, various excel spreadsheets, online storage websites, and stored files. Contacting vendors on claims pending to see if POs were short-shipped, cancelled, or back ordered on high value claims.
