Title:Claims Examiner Location: Northeast Region (Onsite) Employment Type: Full Time Compensation Pay range :$77000-$110000/Year Description: • Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to manage bodily injury and property damage claims. • Responsible for the full life cycle management of third-party claims under municipal general liability and auto liability policies. • Part of a collaborative, mission-driven organization providing critical insurance services to local governments. • Ensure claims are resolved efficiently, fairly, and in alignment with legal standards and organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: • Manage a caseload of third-party claims related to municipal general liability and auto liability policies. • Conduct thorough investigations, coverage analyses, liability evaluations, and damage assessments. • Coordinate with claimants, attorneys, municipal clients, brokers, and third-party administrators. • Set and monitor reserves accurately based on claim severity and complexity. • Negotiate settlements within authority and escalate as needed. • Maintain clear, timely, and detailed file documentation and reporting. • Ensure compliance with internal standards, regional regulations, and licensing requirements. Qualifications: • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. • 3 years of experience handling third-party bodily injury and/or property damage claims. • Strong understanding of liability coverage, policy interpretation, and claims adjusting best practices. • Proficient in documentation, investigation, and negotiation techniques. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong organizational and time management abilities. • Must hold a regional General Adjuster's License.
