Applicants must be within driving distance to a MMA SE Office to be considered for this role and have the ability to commute to the office three days per week.

A day in the life.

As an Claims Advocate – Property & Casualty, you will:

  • Monitor and update claim acknowledgments in Agency Management System and Document Imaging System.
  • Follow up on status of claims as needed by assisting Sr. Claims Analyst, Claims Consultant and/or Sr. Claims Consultants.
  • Ability to negotiate with adjusters on behalf of clients to have positive outcomes related to claims.
  • Process claim closing notices in Agency Management System and Document Imaging System.
  • Create loss analysis documents such as Claims Summaries, Loss Stratification reports, and Mod Worksheet review as requested
  • Create claim kits as requested
  • Order loss runs as requested
  • Maintain claim reporting and loss run request contact lists for each carrier.
  • Assist Corporate Claim Consultants and/or Sr. Claims Consultants when preparing for claim review meetings
  • Perform other specific claims related duties as assigned

  • Bachelors Degree in any field or applicable 2+ years in the insurance industry
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Able to research and analyze problems independently
  • Multi-tasked and detail oriented
  • Able to self-check for accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to use Publisher program
  • Must learn Agency Management System and Document Imaging System
  • Prior insurance experience preferred
  • A shared commitment to company values; Integrity, Collaboration, Passion, Innovation, Accountability
  • Property and Casualty License or willingness to obtain within 90 days required
