Civil/Structural Engineer - Selectek Staffing Solutions : Job Details

We have an immediate need for a Civil/ Structural Engineer that will be responsible for the design and build of foundations for substations. This role will support the sales team and the back-end project management team on high voltage substation design. The engineer will help develop proposals and overall design for foundations and steel structures for ongoing projects. Job Duties: Review equipment specification/data sheets for foundation and steel design. Technically evaluate vendor proposals for major equipment for foundation and steel design. Proficient knowledge of various substation designs to correspond to physical design standards. Implement design standards for various structures and foundations. Develop steel and foundation design standards. Develop engineering expertise to evaluate Geo. Tech Reports and Soil Reports. Support pre-bid meetings and documentation by evaluating Geo.
