• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver civil engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Own client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and main point of contact.
• Drive business growth, helping to shape marketing strategy and bring in new projects.
• Uphold excellence, mentoring junior staff and enforcing quality standards.
• Manage performance across financial, technical, and personnel metrics.

What You'll Be DoingProject Leadership & Oversight

• Manage multiple land development projects from concept to completion.
• Develop project budgets and schedules; ensure financial performance and client satisfaction.
• Oversee design reviews and quality assurance.

Team Management & Mentorship

• Lead, support, and develop a team of engineers and technicians.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and performance reviews.

Client Engagement & Business Development

• Serve as the face of FEI to clients - nurturing relationships and identifying new opportunities.
• Participate in strategic planning and marketing initiatives to grow our client base.

Financial & Operational Management

• Oversee work-in-progress and monthly billing cycles.
• Manage collections and contribute to forecasting and resource planning.

We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Experience: 10+ years in land development engineering, with at least 3 in a leadership or management role.
• Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina; valid NC driver's license.
• Tools: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite; Ajera experience is a plus.

  • Mon-Thu: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Fri: 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM
