Civil Engineer – Renewable Energy

Location: Norton, MA (Hybrid optional) - Travel as needed

Company: The Ryan Company (Quanta Services)

Pay: $95K–$125K + Bonus

Seeking a Civil Engineer to support renewable energy and utility-scale electrical projects (solar PV, BESS, substations). Role includes civil/structural design, site evaluations, and support through all project phases.

Key Duties:

• Produce/review grading, drainage, and structural drawings
• Perform load calculations (dead, live, wind, seismic)
• Support SWPP, cut/fill, erosion control reports
• Ensure code compliance (NEC, IEC, UL, local)
• Conduct site visits and verify field execution
• Assist with estimates, procurement, and vendor reviews

Requirements:

• BS in Civil/Structural Engineering
• 2–4 yrs in utility/renewables (construction exp. a plus)
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe; Bluebeam, MicroStation, Procore preferred
• Knowledge of PV, BESS, substation systems
• OSHA training preferred
